Almost none of that came from cleverer adverts. It came from what happened after the click — which is the part this book spends the most time on.

The seven days

Each one ends with something real

Not lessons. Artefacts. By the end of every day there is a thing you can point at.

DAY 1

Your brand bookAn interview that gets what makes you different out of your head and into a form the tool can actually use.

DAY 2

A workspace that knows your businessSet up once. You never explain yourself to a blank chat again.

DAY 3

A live page, a map listing, and the truth about your competitorsPublished, findable, and priced against what your neighbourhood actually pays.

DAY 4

Your price, your offer, your three pillarsIncluding the commission arithmetic that quietly costs marketplace sellers money on every order.

DAY 5

A month of content, queuedPlanned in one sitting, produced in batches, nothing published without you reading it.

DAY 6

Adverts and a conversion pathOn a budget you would not miss, feeding a conversation rather than a dead page.

DAY 7

An email list and a Monday reportArriving whether or not you remember to ask for it.

The book

First edition

It is priced low because you are buying it before a single review exists, and because I want your notes badly enough to pay for them. Early buyers get a direct line to me, and their feedback shapes edition two.

Who wrote this

Someone who had to work it out alone

Arvind Ravichandran
Arvind Ravichandran

I spent sixteen years building software in the United States — AT&T, then Microsoft, then Amazon. I worked on Teams and Outlook. I worked on Amazon Ads, which means I know how the auction thinks, because I helped build the thing that does the thinking.

Then I came home to Chennai and started a marketplace for home-cooked food, with no funding, no agency and no marketing team. Which meant I was the marketing team, at night, after the operational fires were out.

Nothing I knew from sixteen years of big-company software transferred cleanly. Those teams have budgets, analysts and a brand everyone already trusts. I had none of that, so I had to build a version that one tired person could actually run. That version is this book.

I have also failed at this. My first company, straight out of graduate school, was an e-commerce idea built on my own thesis. It had angel money behind it and it sold nothing at all. I mention it because a book about marketing written by someone who has only ever succeeded is not worth reading, and because most of what is in here I learned by getting it wrong first.

You do not have to take any of that on faith. It is all public: linkedin.com/in/arvindbhookle. I would rather you looked than believed me.

What this is not

  • Not fear-based. There is an industry telling small business owners they will be extinct in eighteen months. I am not interested in making a living off your anxiety.
  • Not passive income. What you build runs largely without you. That is not the same as entirely without you. Twenty minutes a week is small, but it is not nothing.
  • Not a folder of prompts. Every prompt comes with why it is shaped that way and where it breaks. Day 1 is not about AI at all.
  • Not finished. The tools underneath change every few months. When they change, the book gets updated and you get the update at no cost.

If a book is not enough

One-to-one, when you are genuinely stuck

Some situations a book cannot solve — several sales channels that have to talk to each other, a pricing decision with real money riding on it, adverts that should be working and are not.

Do the seven days first if you can. Most people find they do not need me afterwards, and that is the outcome I am actually aiming at. The ones who still come are stuck on something specific, and by then they know exactly what to ask — which is the only reason these conversations are worth the money.

What the hour actually is

  • Before we speak — you send me one page: what you sell, who buys it, and the one decision you are stuck on. I read it before the call, not during it.
  • The first ten minutes — I ask questions. Most stuck marketing problems turn out to be operations problems, and I would rather find that out early than spend an hour on the wrong thing.
  • The next forty — we work the actual problem. Your numbers, your channels, your prices. Screen shared, nothing generic.
  • The last ten — we agree what you are changing this week. Three things at most, in the order you will do them.
  • Within two days — a written summary of what we decided, so you are not relying on your notes.

You pick a time after you pay. If I am not the right person for your problem, I will say so in the first ten minutes and refund you in full.

Before you ask

Questions

Do I need to be technical?

No. Day 2 explicitly tells you to skip the developer tools, and Day 3 builds a published page without you writing any code. If you can use WhatsApp and a browser, you can do this.

What do I need to buy besides the book?

One AI subscription, around $20 (roughly ₹1,900) a month. That is the whole stack for the seven days. The book argues you should get the mid tier rather than the expensive one, and explains why.

Does this work outside India?

Yes. The method is global; only one module is regional, and it comes with two paths — WhatsApp-first markets and email-first markets. Worked examples are Indian because that is the business I actually run.

Is it just AI-generated filler?

It is the system I built and ran for my own company, written down, including the parts that did not work. If you read it and disagree, the seven-day refund exists precisely so that costs you nothing.

What if it does not work for my business?

Seven-day refund, no questions and no form to fill in. Message me and it is done.

Will it go out of date?

Parts of it, yes — the tools change every few months. That is why updates are included for good. When something moves, you get the new edition.

Can I book the one-to-one without buying the book?

Yes. Nobody checks. But I would rather you did the seven days first, because most of what people book me for is answered in the book for a small fraction of the price, and I would rather you kept the difference. If your problem is genuinely specific, book the hour.

What happens after I pay for a session?

You get a link to pick a time that suits you, and a short form asking what you sell, who buys it, and the one decision you are stuck on. I read it before we speak. If it turns out I am the wrong person for your problem, I will say so early and refund you.
